Candy Cabin Friday Night Auction Terms

1. ABOUT US
The auction is operated by FMUK Trading Ltd trading as Candy Cabin. Business and contact details shown on the Candy Cabin website form part of these terms.

2. ELIGIBILITY
Bidders must be at least 18 years old, have an active Candy Cabin account and provide accurate contact information. Candy Cabin may restrict bidding where an account has an insufficient trust score, overdue payment, suspected misuse or a security concern.

3. BIDS AND CONTRACT FORMATION
Each bid is an offer to buy the stated quantity at the displayed price. Bids are binding once accepted by the live auction system. A contract is formed only when the lot closes as SOLD, the reserve has been met where applicable, and Candy Cabin records the bidder as the winner. Accidental duplicate bids, bids placed during a verified technical fault, or fraudulent activity may be cancelled by Candy Cabin.

4. RESERVES
Candy Cabin may set a confidential seller reserve for any lot. The exact reserve is not disclosed publicly. The live screen will state whether the reserve has been met. If the reserve is not met, the lot is UNSOLD and no purchase contract is formed.

5. PRODUCT INFORMATION
Lot descriptions, quantities, weights, images, ingredients and allergen information should be checked before bidding. Images may be illustrative where stated. Product substitutions will not be made after a lot is won without the winner's agreement. Statutory rights concerning goods that are faulty, misdescribed or not fit for purpose are unaffected.

6. FOOD AND ALLERGENS
Ingredients and allergen information are provided on the linked product information before purchase and with the goods where legally required. Customers with allergies must review the information carefully and contact Candy Cabin before bidding if clarification is required. Candy Cabin cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment unless expressly stated.

7. PAYMENT
Winning lots are combined into the bidder's auction order where possible. Payment must be completed within the deadline shown, normally 24 hours after the auction. Candy Cabin may cancel unpaid wins, relist the goods, reduce the bidder's trust score and suspend bidding access. This does not limit any other lawful remedy.

8. COLLECTION
Collection is from the location, date and time displayed for the auction. The winner must bring the order confirmation and suitable identification if requested. Uncollected orders may be stored, rearranged or cancelled in accordance with the published collection policy.

9. DELIVERY
Delivery is available only where offered at checkout. Delivery prices and estimated services are shown before payment. Consumer rights and Candy Cabin's responsibility for delivery remain as required by law.

10. CANCELLATION AND RETURNS
Nothing in these terms removes statutory consumer rights. For online-only auctions, distance-selling cancellation rights may apply unless a lawful exemption applies, including certain rapidly deteriorating goods, personalised goods, or sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed. The applicable cancellation and returns information will be provided at checkout.

11. AUCTION OPERATION
Candy Cabin may pause, extend, repeat, withdraw or cancel a lot where a technical, operational, stock, description, security or fairness issue occurs. If a material fault affects the outcome, Candy Cabin may void affected bids and rerun the lot. Staff decisions will be made reasonably and records may be reviewed.

12. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Automated bidding tools, collusion, bid manipulation, false identities, abusive chat, spam, harassment and attempts to interfere with the service are prohibited. Candy Cabin may mute, remove, suspend or ban accounts and may revoke bids affected by prohibited conduct.

13. PRIVACY
Bidder numbers are displayed publicly instead of names. Account, bidding, chat, fulfilment and payment data are processed to operate the auction, prevent fraud, fulfil orders and comply with legal obligations. Further information is in the Candy Cabin Privacy Policy.

14. LIABILITY
Candy Cabin does not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights. Candy Cabin is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for failures caused by events outside reasonable control, subject always to applicable law.

15. CHANGES AND GOVERNING LAW
The terms shown when a bid is placed apply to that auction. Material changes will not be applied retrospectively to completed bids. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory rights a consumer has in their home jurisdiction.
